Robert Eggers’ remake of the 1922 film, Nosferatus, recently made headlines in the industry. Actors Bill Skarsgard and Lily-Rose Depp are said to have played significant roles in the film. According to the deadline, Nosferatus is a dark infatuation story between a young woman and an ancient vampire from Transylvania, set in 19th century Germany. More specific details are yet to be discovered. However, the film will supposedly follow the same path as the original.
Filming for the film was suspended in 2019 as Robert Eggers began work on The Nordic, which was released in April 2022. However, it now looks set to revive Nosferatusmaybe with a different cast than before.

Nicholas Hoult replaces Harry Styles

After Robert Eggers finished working on The Nordic, he was looking for other projects, but had his passion project at heart, Nosferatus. Once he was able to get Focus Features on board, he immediately began looking for actors to star in his film. The Mad Max: Fury Road actor, Nicholas Hoult seemed to be among his top picks. The actor replaces Harry Styles in the film, although no details on Nicholas Hoult’s role have been released.
This replacement is both a shock and a surprise. While fans of singer Harry Styles are crestfallen, others are calling it an upgrade, especially after viewers were completely unhappy with Harry Styles’ acting in Don’t worry honey.
Nicholas Hoult currently works as Peter III of Russia on Hulu’s Great, for which he received an Emmy nomination. He recently starred in Mark Mylod’s The menu, which hits theaters in November 2022. Nicholas Hoult is also set to star in another supernatural movie Renfield, where he plays Dracula’s well-known henchman.

Director Olivia Wilde don’t worry darling which was released on September 23, 2022 has been the center of attention for some time, especially due to the controversies surrounding the actors, Florence Pugh, Harry Styles and Chris Pine. Fans have also speculated that these controversies were a publicity stunt for the promotion of the film. However, it didn’t seem to work for the movie because don’t worry darling was not very well received, earning a mere 37% score on Rotten Tomatoes. Harry Styles’ performance was, in particular, under the blow.
Despite being a much-loved personality, Harry Styles struggled to win over audiences as an actor. Critics and fans alike agreed that gaslighting husband Harry Styles’ portrayal of Jack Chambers was mediocre at best. On the other hand, others thought Harry Styles delivered an adequate performance, based on what the script called for. May his replacement be the result of his work in don’t worry darling or not, remains unknown.
