JOOGSQUAD grew up with an interest in surfing and skateboarding, and started doing both when he was six years old. He attended a local high school, and by that time was already an avid surfer, which made him somewhat popular at school. JOOGSQUAD was primarily focused on his YouTube channel while in high school, and upon enrolling in 2012, he chose not to enroll in college but instead focus on his internet career.
