Meet the new additions to the House Of The Dragon cast

Aemond House of the Dragon
Ewan Mitchell as Aemond Targaryen

The intense encounters of the previous episode will lead the plot towards the disturbing war between the “greens” and the “blacks”. After Aemond stole and claimed Vhagar, Laena’s dragon, the children fought during which Lucerys cut out Aemond’s left eye. Queen Alicent asked an eye for an eye and ordered Lucerys’ eye removed, but King Viserys refused.

Jacaerys House of the Dragon
Harry Collett as Jacaerys Targaryen

This intensified the feud between Rhaenyra and Alicent, as the former will defend her position as heir to the throne while the latter will do anything to usurp the crown from her eldest son, Aegon II. The latest addition to the cast includes Tom Glynn-Carney as Aegon II, Ewan Mitchell as Aemond, Harry Collett as Jacaerys, Elliot Grihault as Lucerys, Bethany Antonia as Baela, and Phoebe Campbell as Rhaena.

What will happen in episode 8?

Aegon II House of the Dragon
Tom Glynn-Carney as Aegon II Targaryen

Rhaenyra’s sons in Laenor are believed to be bastards, which will become the focal point of the next episode titled “The Lord of the Tides.”

Dragon House takes place two hundred years before the events of game of thrones with House Targaryen at the height of their power.

Alicent House of the Dragon
Olivia Cooke as Alicent Hightower

The ensuing blood feud between Greens and Blacks will be known as the Dance of the Dragons, the epic war of succession between Aegon II and Princess Rhaenyra.
