Ryan Reynolds’ rise to fame has always come with a low-key career trajectory. With movies like Blade Trinity (2004), X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009), Proposal (2009), Buried (2010), The Green Lantern (2011), and The Captive (2014), Reynolds clearly established himself in the industry long before becoming dead Pool in 2016. The actor-comedian was accused of sexual assault in 2017, following which allegations of on-set abuse and intimidation came to him in 2018, during his stint on the HBO series, Silicon Valley. Although the sudden onslaught of criticism leveled at the Merc With a Mouth comes at an inopportune time (just after the announcement of Dead Pool 3), fans have been unwavering in their ability to defend the Marvel star.
