Mahershala Ali’s Blade movie has been put on hold as Marvel Studios continues its search for a new director for the project.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Marvel is temporarily halting production-related activities to Blade, following director Bassam Tariq’s exit from the project. Tarik is gone Blade about two weeks ago, citing ongoing shifts in the film’s production schedule as the reason for its release. The project was originally scheduled to begin production in November in Atlanta, Georgia.
