Oscar Isaac Confirms Moon Knight’s Marvel Cinematic Universe Return

Oscar Isaac has confirmed that Moon Knight will return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

moon knight Star Oscar Isaac was the main guest at this year’s New York Comic-Con, with the actor taking part in photo ops and autograph sessions during the four-day event. The 43-year-old actor also had his own panel of spotlights, focusing on his career.

Expect to see Moon Knight again

During his New York Comic-Con panel, Oscar Isaac was asked if he plans to reprise the role of Moon Knight in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The actor couldn’t say much, but his answer confirms that the character has a future in the MCU.

“All I can say is that this isn’t the last we hear about the system that is Moon Knight.”

Developed by Jeremy Slater, moon knight was a six-episode series that aired between March and May this year on the Disney Plus streaming service. While Marvel has yet to announce a second season for moon knightthe series’ latest episode left the door open for the character to return somewhere in the MCU.

Focusing on a man with dissociative identity disorder, moon knight ended with the reveal that the show’s main character, Marc Spector, has a third character who uses the name “Jake Lockley” and works with Khonshu, the Egyptian moon god. His two primary identities are unaware of Jake’s existence.

The Disney Plus series stars Oscar Isaac, May Calamawy, Karim El Hakim, F. Murray Abraham, Ethan Hawke, Ann Akinjirin, David Ganly, Khalid Abdalla, Gaspard Ulliel, Antonia Salib, Fernanda Andrade, Rey Lucas, Sofia Danu and Saba Mubarak.
