Robert Downey Jr., the man best known for playing our beloved Tony Stark in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has had a difficult past. From drug abuse to conviction and relationship issues with his father, the actor has come a long way and suffered a lot along the way.

In an interview, when the questions started to do the sherlock holmes actor uncomfortable, he did what Tony Stark would have done… he just got up and left.

When Robert Downey Jr. walked away during an interview

A video of Channel 4 News featured the full interview that presenter Krishnan Guru-Murthy had with the Iron Man actor. The video is only 7:07 minutes long, as during a round of personal questions, the actor simply stood up and walked away.

The interviewer brought up Rober Downey Jr.’s past, as the actor had spoken on the matter before. The actor is seen taking a deep breath as the subject reaches his rocky relationship with his father and “dark times” in which the actor entered.

“Taking drugs and drinking all that stuff. And I was just wondering if you think… that you’re free from all of this? or if it’s still-”

the interviewer said until he was interrupted mid-sentence by Robert Downey Jr. The actor replied:

“I’m sorry, I really don’t know…what do we do?” Okay goodbye”

The actor simply smiled and waved at the interviewer as he got up from his chair and headed for the exit. The presenter was left mumbling words as they removed the microphone from the actor’s waistcoat and simply walked away with a hurtful remark to the presenter.

The actor presented to the judge that he had been taking drugs since the age of eight because his father was also a drug addict and had been giving them to him since he was very young.
