In May 2020, The Illuminati revealed that Nova was a project that entered the early stages of development with a strong belief that it would be released during Phase 5 of the MCU. Following the line-up revealed at San Diego Comic-Con 2022, it is clear that there are currently no announcements for Nova.

Fans haven’t lost hope as the success of night werewolf could very well mean that Nova maybe get a project, but in the form of a special. Nova is a member of the intergalactic police force known as the Nova Corps, for which he gained superhuman abilities including enhanced strength, flight, and resistance to injury.
The story will likely explain and depict Nova’s character arc as well as the formation of the Nova Corps, the fictional force shown in the MCU. just like Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special and Night Werewolf, Nova could very well be made into a series on Disney+ or a special.
