7. The Stranger (2020)
HBO’s “The Outsider” is a psychological thriller drama series directed by Richard Price that focuses on the investigation into the horrific death of a young boy. The novel the series is based on was written by Stephen King in 2018 and has the same name as the book. The ideas of one of the case’s key investigators, however, are turned upside down when a mysterious, supernatural power turns out to be connected to the case. As a result, he begins to question everything. Despite the fact that ‘The Watcher’ does not deal with the death of a young child, ‘The Outsider’ is very similar to it in terms of its embodiment and the mystery that surrounds the main author of the events that take place in each series.
