‘He’s like a brick wall’: Millie Bobby Brown claims Henry Cavill is a huge bore, teases him as the next James Bond

Daniel Craig has left a huge gap in the shoes that needs to be filled by the next James Bond actor after his version of the British spy received his emotional goodbye at the end of No time to die. To be fair, any Bond fan would have cried at the end of the last film.

But there has yet to be a successor to Craig’s successful, albeit initially frazzled, portrayal of the character. There’s been a lot of speculation about who the next Bond will be, with tons of archetypal Bond actors already listed. A remarkable candidate is Steel man star Henry Cavill, and it looks like we’ve gotten a not-so-official confirmation that he’s attending.

Millie Bobby Brown may have confirmed the next James Bond

There are over ten actors who have been listed to play James Bond in any reboot that will follow after the release of No time to die. Emphasis on the reboot as Daniel Craig’s Bond makes a sacrifice at the end of the film.

Not every actor on the “to be James Bond” list needs to be named, but there are a few fan-picked ones who are also in demand. The likes of Tom Hardy, Andrew Garfield, Idris Elba, Regé-Jean Page, etc. are huge contenders.

But Superman star Henry Cavill seems to be the standout actor on this list. He’s British, looks like Bond and has already shown his prowess in action movies like Assignment: ImpossibleTo fall as well as playing in Argyle, another spy movie!

There’s no confirmation of who the next 007 will be, but Cavill Enola Holmes 2 Co-star Millie Bobby Brown may have just given us not-so-official confirmation that he’ll be the next James Bond.

During an interview with Ali Plumb of BBC Radio 1, the stranger things the star talks about his new release Enola Holmes 2, which also stars Cavill. Plumb notes that Cavill’s character is a bit like a “dead horse” above another “dead horse”, Brown responds-

“It is, it really is like that. It’s Henry Cavill. So anyway… our new James Bond!

With those last four words, the 18-year-old actress might have told the world (or anyone watching this interview) that Cavill has confirmed he’ll be replacing Daniel Craig as James Bond!

Millie Bobby Brown calls James Bond contestant Henry Cavill ‘a brick wall’

The chemistry between Millie Bobby Brown and her co-star Henry Cavill was quite beautiful and evident in Enola Holmes. She’s also quite young and still learning in the movie industry, so it’s understandable that she does a lot of mischief!

One of his latest silly acts came when he tried to get his co-star to participate in a TikTok dance, to no avail! BBC Radio 1 reporter Ali Plumb asks him if this ever happened in the interview, here’s what the Godzilla star had to say-

“Ali, it’s honestly like moving a brick wall. It’s just…it won’t happen unless I have a hammer, it won’t happen. Also the fact that he’s very big, usually I can’t get it to move”

The James Bond contestant has always sounded quite stern and reserved in every interview we’ve heard him speak. Maybe he’s preparing for the role of Bond?

Enola Holmes 2 is currently available to stream on Netflix.
