When it comes to the subject of star wars, the duration of the conversation can either end in 30 seconds or I can go for 30 days. The world George and Anthony Lucas created felt more like an ever-expanding universe, with something new to discover as you travel the galaxy far, far away. The sheer scale of uncharted stories and adventures in this universe is absolutely absurd, and that’s why fans always want more.
With that Star Wars craze reignited in the next generation, Disney and Lucasfilm have created their own mini-universe of spin-offs and origin stories to satiate fans.
With the first season of Disney+ Andor Now coming to an end, series creator Tony Gilroy has promised fans another season of the critically acclaimed series, and this time he’s promised to dive deeper into the movies’ history!
Andor Season 2 will delve deeper into Star Wars history!
star wars andor became an instant hit with fans of the original trilogy and the entire franchise in general, with its theme revolving around showing off the deepest and darkest parts of the Empire’s rule over the galaxy. To show mature elements deeply rooted in a dictatorial environment that approximates reality, and high-stakes plot points that keep you on the edge of your settings, Andor did not hesitate to show everything with precision down to the smallest detail.

With all of that, the pedestal of success where the series now stands came as no surprise to most fans. With the first season of Andor Now complete, the second season has already been announced and has been confirmed to begin filming in late November. Tony Gilroy, the famous creator of the series, said that the series will now dive even deeper behind the scenes of the film series with the help of people like his brother Dan Gilroy and Beau Willimon, who are all set to write the second season of Andor. Gilroy said:
“{Willimon} really cool and really, really interesting, versatile, really good writer. But also a really, really, really big Star Wars fan, who we really wanted to make sure we had another pro because we’re getting into Rogue [One].”
With a comment like this, Gilroy just wrapped up the second season even more. It seems like Andor will delve deeper into the story of Jyn Erso and Cassian Andor as they plan to pull off a heist and steal the blueprints for the Empire’s most destructive weapon.

What to expect from Andor Season 2?
As Tony Gilroy has already revealed, the second season will tell the story of Cassian Andor in a more grueling way until they connect the series to the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. This means that we will be able to witness all the events that happened between the first season that led Cassian Andor to Jyn Erso, and how they managed to steal the plans for the Empire’s most devastating weapon, the death Star.
