Zaire Wade has two sisters – Zaya Wade and Kaavia Wade. One of her sisters has already taken the fashion world by storm and another has become a famous internet meme.
1. Zaya Wade
Zaya Wade, 15, is the younger sister of Zaire Wade and was born to parents Dwyane Wade and Siohvaughn Funches-Wade. Zaya is part of the LGBTQIA+ community and transitioned when she was 12 years old.
Born as Zion Wade, one day after returning from school, Zaya expressed to Dwyane her true self and wanted to be referenced as her and her and being called Zaya.
Earlier this year, Zaya and her boyfriend Hudson, who is also part of the LGBTQIA+ community, went public with their relationship, which was supported by many fans.
Zaya has signed several fashion deals with some of the most luxurious fashion brands in the world including Miu Miu, Prada and Stella McCartney and has gained tons of fans on social media sites.
2. Kaavia Wade
Kaavia Wade, 3, is the half-sister of Zaire Wade. Kaavia is the youngest member of the Wade family and was born via surrogacy. She is the daughter of Dwyane Wade and his second wife, Gabrielle Union.
Kaavia is known as the cross-eyed baby due to her memorable facial expressions. Before Kaavia was born, her mother, Union, detailed her struggle with infertility and failed IVF treatments.
Union said she had had eight or nine miscarriages and shared that she was ready to take a drug called Lupron which would give her a 30% chance of becoming a mother.
Kaavia Wade’s mother put the title Shady baby given to his daughter wisely. Union and Wade published a book with this title and have already launched a children’s book with the title Welcome to the party.
