The Breaking Bad star has requested that his original last name, Sturtevant, be changed to Paul, the nickname he has used professionally for years. According to court documents obtained by the gossip site, the actor, born Aaron Paul Sturtevant, recently filed a petition to formalize his stage name and ensure consistency in his family’s identities.
Lauren Parsekian, his wife, is also said to be moving so that the family has one surname. Additionally, their baby will now be known as Ryden Caspian Paul. While that was the name Aaron and Lauren chose to announce the child on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy fall on in April, Casper Emerson Paul was legally titled Casper Emerson Paul on his birth certificate.

Aaron Paul also decided to change his family’s last name
This means that the actor, his wife, Lauren Parsekian, their 4-year-old daughter, Story, and their baby boy will all use the last name Paul. According to sources, the two youngsters have had the surname Paul since birth. The petition calls for the young man’s name to be changed from Casper Emerson Paul to Ryden Caspian Paul.

In 2018, Paul and his wife had a daughter named Story Annabelle, whose first name will not be changed. During his appearance on Fallon, the actor posted the first images of the new baby, exclaiming, “His name is Ryden and I love him” adding that he was undoubtedly “exhausted” to have a newborn at home, but “he is the best.”

He also said that his daughter is “crazy in Love” with his brother, laughing, “[She] can’t tighten it enough. Like, lie on top of him, suffocate him. It’s her doll. Aaron Paul will be remembered by “Breaking Bad” fans like meth cook Jesse Pinkman, nicknamed Cap’n Cook, Walter White’s business partner of Bryan Cranston.

Paul also said he asked Bryan Cranston, his former Breaking Bad co-star, to be the baby’s godfather. “I asked Bryan on his birthday if he would be our baby’s godfather,” he joked, referring to Cranston’s initial refusal. “No, he is very excited, very honored”, continues the actor. “I love the man to death. He’s one of my best friends in the world, and so yeah, that was just a no-brainer.

The two Emmy winners recently reunited to promote their Back Mena brand of mezcal, and teach how to build a “Fuckin’ Hell” drink for Halloween. Since adopting daughter Story Annabelle in 2018, the Westworld star has embraced fatherhood and demonstrated an emotional attachment to Ryden soon after she was born.
