Radio shows have become very interesting these days and many celebrities can be seen being a part of them. In one such interview by BBC Radio 1, Robert Downey Jr. was invited for a lighthearted chat.

The whole concept of this particular radio show was pretty fun and revolved around kids asking questions of their favorite Avenger. The radio show has grown in popularity, thanks to the intelligent questions asked by the children, combined with the Iron Man the quirky personality of the star.
The fun question asked
A very clever but funny question posed by a 10-year-old boy named Luca gave us some insight into Downey’s secret getting the role of Iron Man right after a nerve-wracking screen test.
Luca in his question asked if the Marvel superhero used to pretend to be an iron man and fly around his house. The question was so innocent yet funny that it also left Robert Downey Jr frowning.

Robert Downey Jr.’s secret to getting the role
To the question posed by Luca, the Dr. Dolittle The star mentioned that at the time of the screen test for his very famous character, Iron Man, he was given three scenes. What is more interesting is the fact that two of the three scenes given were actually in the avengers film.

The sherlock holmes The actor further explained how he used to loop these scenes and stand in front of his mirror, thinking if he was as confident as the character, Tony Stark. Robert Downey Jr. simply pretended that he already got the role and came forward for the same.
The response also had the host laughing, commenting on how Downey abusively came forward to get the role of Tony Stark. At the end of the interview, the host added a little anecdote from his childhood, where he himself used to pretend to run a radio show while all his friends were busy playing outside.
The question ended with our very favorite Tony Stark saying how we all continue to create our own reality on a daily basis without realizing it. Not only Downey, but the host too was so humorous in his approach that he jokingly added that although he runs a hit radio show today, he still has no friends.
The whole interview was fun on its own and gave viewers a great insight into the life of Robert Downey Jr. and helped them get to know the fun side of the most wanted superhero.
