Eternals was a memorable film from Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Realized by nomadland fame, Chloe Zhao has done her best to bring The Eternals up to date with today’s audiences.
After hilariously failing to become one of the MCU’s most hated films, Patton Oswalt accidentally let slip that a sequel is indeed in the works. Kumail Nanjiani, just like his character Kingo, is here to save the day.
Eternals Misadventure sequel erased by Kumail Nanjiani
Months ago, when the wound of Eternals still wasn’t old, Patton Oswalt had commented on the exit of the former Avenger gang Eternals 2. The actor, who plays the role of Pip the Troll, revealed that Marvel had already announced the film! Refusing to discuss the issue further, the interview had since died down, but Kingo is here to save people from the confusion as Patton Oswalt has allegedly fallen victim to a fake website.

Talk to reading list, the Pakistani-American actor clarified that Eternals 2 is not in development and has not been announced. The Silicon Valley the actor said he thinks Patton Oswalt fell victim to one of these fake websites “where it’s like a letter from the real one”. Here’s what Kumail Nanjiani said about the upcoming sequel updates Eternals.
I don’t think Patton was right. I think there was a hoax website – one of those where it’s like a letter offset from the real thing. They tweeted it, and it spread and I think that’s what Patton saw.
People were kind of relieved because the comments and tweets were filled with the seriousness of the first film. As for the officiality, Eternals 2 is not in preparation at the moment. But Marvel couldn’t leave its team alone in the MCU, could it?

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is now bigger than ever. Although he had his moments of failure (*cough* Thor: Love and Thunder *cough*), people know that Eternals 2 will indeed be a reality in the near future.
With a cliffhanger ending for multiple characters, it’s alleged that Richard Madden, Angelina Jolie, Kumail Nanjiani, and more will soon return to the franchise. Kit Harrington, who played the character Black Knight in Eternals had just developed his powers at the end of the film. With an appearance from Harry Styles as Eros, Thanos’ brother, this franchise is far from over. As for Chloe Zhao, there may be a change in the direction of the upcoming film but nothing can be said for sure at this time.
