Elizabeth Debicki was born on August 24, 1990 in Paris to an Australian mother of Irish descent and a Polish father. Her parents, who met at a performance together, were also ballet dancers. The family moved to Melbourne, Glen Waverley in Australia when she was five years old. She is the eldest of three children; his younger siblings are a sister and a brother.
Early on, Debicki developed a passion for ballet and trained as a dancer before opting for a career in theatre.
