Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is just around the corner and fans are beyond excited to see the film which should be a tribute to the late actor Chadwick Boseman and the nation of Wakanda to which he brought so much glory. In an interview with Variety, Ryan Coogler and Letitia Wright both had a lot to say about all the love and pain that was depicted in the film and how personal it had been.
The director had been approached about several things, one of them being rumors that he would be directing Avengers: Secret Wars.

Ryan Coogler Talks What’s Next After Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
In the interview with Variety, Ryan Coogler was talking about how the director and his production company aren’t done with the Marvel Cinematic Universe just yet. He has yet to produce the sequel spin-off. Black Panther, Heart of Iron, which would focus on Riri Williams, who will be featured in the upcoming film. He is also online to work on several projects on Disney+ that revolve around the African kingdom.
However, when asked about the third part of Black Panther, Coogler directly came back saying there weren’t any recent plans for it as he’s much more focused on releasing the sequel in the first place.
“It’s very difficult because you’re exhausted and emotionally drained, and I’m trying to give it my full attention,” he had told them. “After that, I will understand what is happening with me. But I think it’s going to be rest and family time.
As to whether or not he would lead Avengers: Secret Wars, the director completely denied discussing it with Kevin Feige and said there were no plans or thoughts about him while watching the film.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever on dealing with grief and loss
For Black Panther: Wakanda Forever as well as the cast attached to the film, grief and loss was a constant topic that even if they wanted to avoid, they couldn’t. The loss of their lead actor, but more than that, their brother and friend, their family, had put the entire cast in a state of grief and pain. For Ryan Coogler, it had been exceptionally difficult because even though many of the cast members had given themselves time to heal even remotely, he didn’t seem to be finding a break for himself at all.
“You know what I mean? I don’t know if that’s how it works. It’s an ongoing process. The process has to change from time to time. My back hurts, right? I could get the most comfortable and ergonomic chair in the world. If I sit for long enough, my back is going to hurt. I have to get up and change my position.
The whole process of making the film had been an entirely new experience for everyone due to its personal and important nature. A way to carry on and honor the legacy of an actor gone too soon turned into a way for each of them to heal and come to terms with their passing.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be available in theaters from November 11, 2022.
