During a previous outing for a project, Wright sat down to chat with Dazed in 2020, where she revealed that due to her fame after being cast as the main character, she doesn’t have the privilege of being so out and about in public. She said that due to her fame, she has to be more careful around people, especially when looking for that special someone. Letitia Wright also revealed that she doesn’t need dating apps to find someone she loves and that she believes love will eventually find her.
“I just need to meet the person that’s right for me and that’s it. Done. I don’t need all that website stuff. [My friend] has the advantage of exploring without someone going “Oh my God!” Wakanda forever!” She doesn’t have that problem.
Wright has been in many successful franchises in the TV entertainment industry, with her best-known and most high-profile role as Shuri in the MCU, alongside Late. Chadwick Boseman. In his latest film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, she continues T’Challa’s legacy as the new ruler of Wakanda.
