Dave Bautista Wants to Play Marcus Fenix in Gears of War Movie
Netflix recently announced a live-action adaptation and anime series based on the popular Epic Games game series, Geras of war. Fans, who were eagerly awaiting this adaptation, have already shared their opinion on the actor who should play the role of the protagonist, Marcus Fenix.
guardians of the galaxy star David Bautista was fan-cast as Marcus Fenix for a while. And with his MCU journey coming to an end with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3, the actor has expressed what he wants to do next in his acting career.
Dave Bautista shared a video on his Twitter page, making his pitch for the role of Marcus Fenix in armament of war. The my spy star had the Armor soldier from the Xbox game series and captioned the post as follows: “I can’t make it any easier.”
It comes after the streaming platform announced the movie and the anime series. The Final score star was one of the best choices to play the role. Other actors who have been chosen by fans as legendary war heroes include stars like Vin Diesel and John Cena.

Netflix has announced the Gears of War movie and an animated series
Earlier this week, streaming giant Netflix announced a number of projects based on the popular game armament of war. It includes a live-action adaptation film as well as an anime series.
Gears of wars follows a Delta Squad, engaged in a war with a race of genetically modified humans. Marcus Fenix, a retired soldier in the Coalition of Ordained Governments army, led Delta Squad in a war against the Locust Horde.
The Netflix adaptation is expected to follow the same story as the game. The film and series will be produced in partnership with game developer The Coalition.

It wouldn’t be the first video game adaptation on Netflix, as the streaming platform already has a number of video game adaptations under its name, including Assassin’s Creed, Sonic Prime, BioShock, and more. Netflix has not revealed when the series will officially release.
Dave Bautista has already joined the fifth installment of the game series, Speeds 5, where he was playable in the game’s multiplayer modes as a character skin. The Spectrum star is currently set to star in the upcoming threequel of the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Apart from the MCU movie, he is also expected to star in Knock at the hut, which is scheduled for release on February 3, 2023.
