Prior to the reintroduction of Superman, black adam opened up several other elements of the DCU by appealing to the Justice Society of America. We were introduced to 4 new heroes with the tease of many more to come. And even among these four heroes, all four could practically hold their own projects, if not play in another collective JSA event. But among Doctor Fate, Hawkman, Cyclone and Atom Smasher, only the latter is promised a future by the superiors at the moment.
An Atom Smasher project on the way?
Producer Hiram Garcia released a series of behind-the-scenes footage showing camera tests that included 3 of the 4 characters. Images included Aldis Hodge’s Hawkman, Quintessa Swindell’s Cyclone and Noah Centineo’s Atom Smasher. You’d think we’d soon get another image featuring Pierce Brosnan’s Doctor Fate. But what is interesting is that out of the 3 photos posted, only 1 hero has a caption where the character’s future is teased. And that’s none other than Al Rothstein, aka the Atom Smasher.

So it would be interesting to see where the Atom Smasher returns next. Maybe he could get a solo series on HBO Max. This would be the ideal situation because a movie may not generate a profit. Since there was some chemistry between Al Rothstein and Maxine Hunkel (Cyclone), perhaps his project could be a team of these two characters.

Other Characters Who Should Get Their Own Projects
Well, the whole JSA should continue as a collective unit in an HBO Max series or even a movie that adds a few more characters. But if that’s not an option yet, the other two strongest members of the team should also go on solo outings. Despite the fate of Doctor Fate in black adam, a new character could come to keep his mantle in a solo project. But more than him, a character who deserves his own space is none other than Hawkman.

Carter Hall turned out to be a resourceful man. Using Nth Metal, he could give us something quite fascinating. But many viewers noticed that this reincarnated form of the character was not reunited with his undying love, Shiera Sanders, aka Hawkgirl. So his solo movie, or maybe a series, should be about Hawkman reuniting with Hawkgirl.
And after that, the entire JSA should come together and take on the Justice League teaming up with Amanda Waller’s equivalent roster Suicide Squad and Black Adam. What about that???
