Black Panther: Wakanda Forever introduces a number of new characters to the MCU. Prior to the film’s release, rumors had it that black panther 2 will introduce Doctor Doom to the MCU. However, that ended up being just a rumor. The film introduces another new character, Namor played by Tenoch Huerta. The actor has appeared in several Latin American and Spanish features and shorts. The Mexican has joined Netflix Narcos: Mexico in 2018 and The purge franchise in 2021 with The Eternal Purge.
The Narcos the actor made his MCU debut as Namor with the Black Panther after. People love the actor as King Talocan. Ahead of the movie’s release, Ryan Coogler shared that he made some changes to Namor’s character in the movie. These changes led him to be the first superhero of indigenous descent.

Namor’s origin in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
Marvel Studios introduced the King of the Talocan Undersea Kingdom, Namor, with the Black Panther after. However, her origin story is completely changed in the film. Namor was the mutant son of a human captain and a princess of Atlantis in the comics.
Although he is depicted as a mutant in the film, a lot is different from the comics. In wakanda forever, Namor shared his story with Shuri. He tells her that in the 16th century, most of her people, who were human, died after the conquerors brought disease with them.

The community followed a ritual after a shaman found a plant powered by the mystical nature of vibranium, to gain strength and immunity they used the herb. Her pregnant mother also participated, and the ritual turned everyone into blue-skinned individuals.
This gave them the ability to breathe underwater and they left the land and moved their civilization underwater. Namor de Tenoch Huerta was the first child to be born underwater and was named king of the Talocan people. He was different from the others because he had winged feet and he was not blue like the others.
These changes led to his origins being Mesoamerican, which is portrayed in the film. And fans appreciate that the studio cast a Mexican character to play the part. And now fans are demanding the same for Doctor Doom.

Fans want to see a Roma actor as Doctor Doom
After seeing Huerta as Namor, fans are now demanding that the studio cast future characters based on their ethnicity in the comics. In the comics, Doctor Doom was born into a tribe of Latvian Roma. Fans now want the studio to cast a Roma actor as Doctor Doom.
They don’t care if the actor is new or unknown in the film industry. The request comes following the release of wakanda forever. The film features Namor, whose origin is based on the Mesoamerican background. Fans and critics loved it purge forever actor’s performance in the film.

The studio has unveiled its plans for the upcoming phases. Phase 6 finally introduces the The Fantastic Four in the MCU, and fans are also expecting to see the antagonist there. However, there are also rumors that the character will join the MCU before The Fantastic Four.
Before the release of wakanda forever, there were rumors that Doctor Doom would appear in the film. However, this turned out to be just a rumor.
As the MCU moves forward with the introduction of new characters, fans also expect to see Doctor Victor Von Doom do in the MCU. However, the studio hasn’t revealed anything about Doctor Doom’s presence in their upcoming projects.
