Aquaman Star Jason Momoa received a basket full of fake meat from PETA after announcing he wasn’t removing bacon from his diet. The actor recently adopted a wild pig he named Manapua. He posted a photo of his new pet on his Instagram account.
PETA sent the actor a basket containing fake bacon, plant-based jerky, fake ham and pork-free pork rinds. They also gave him a cute plush pig with the message “Pigs are friends, not food.”

Aquaman Star Jason Momoa Is Revealed To Be An Animal Lover
Momoa, an avowed animal lover, said he couldn’t resist bringing the boar home. He met the animal on the set of his new Netflix show, Slumberland. The actor wondered what name to give to his pet. in the end, he narrowed the list down to two choices: Lau Lau and Manapua. Both names are popular Hawaiian pork dishes.

The actor said on his Instagram: “That’s why I can’t work with animals. I want to take them home. Wild and wild like her pops.” He later confirmed that he chose Manapua as his pet name. Besides his pet pig, Momoa also shares several pets with his ex-wife Lisa Bonet. They have a donkey, a royal python, a dog and two half-wolves.
