‘They’ll never see it coming’: Chadwick Boseman was thrilled to see how surprised fans would be when Tenoch Huerta was chosen for Namor

Chadwick Boseman made his first appearance in Captain America: Civil War as Wakanda’s Prince T’Challa, which was already considered by many to be one of the best performances in the MCU. Later he starred in his solo movie Black Panther, which went down in history as one of the most successful Marvel Studios projects in history, both critically and financially. After his unfortunate passing on August 28, 2020, fans were in shock and sadness, trying to hold back their grief and asking what to expect from the next Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

But it seems Boseman had a sixth sense about the upcoming film, particularly about actor Tenoch Huerta’s ability to give audiences the performance of a lifetime.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Director Ryan Coogler has revealed that before his death, Chadwick Boseman prophesied that Tenoch Huerta would mesmerize audiences with his performance as Namor The Sub-Mariner.
