The Amber Heard-Johnny Depp lawsuit dragged on indefinitely, and most people would agree that ultimately the final decision was justified. Johnny Depp filed a $50 million defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife Amber Heard and she countered with a $100 million defamation lawsuit against Depp. It would be fair to say that the decision was mostly in Depp’s favor and he thanked his fans around the world for their continued support. This period of his life taught him a lot, and now he has pledged that he represents only the truth and will use his resources to help as many abuse victims as possible.
Johnny Depp returns
Depp was rewarded $15 million in compensation and punitive damages, but due to legal restrictions, the punitive damages were reversed and Depp’s final verdict would bring him $10.35 million. But, he also has to pay Heard $2 million in damages, because that’s also what the jury ordered. But money is not important here. The most crucial factor involved was that the truth had to come out. And it goes without saying that Depp’s legal team managed to pull it off. Now it’s time for him to rebuild his life and he did.
