When Affleck returned home from filming the movie to attend his son’s birthday party, he had planned quite a surprise for his little one in which various gifts of his taste were going to be shipped to the party. I watched him open all the presents. And I said, ‘My presents didn’t arrive in time. “But I got a gift from someone who really wanted to make sure you got a gift.” And he says, ‘Who?’ And I said, ‘Kylo Ren.’ “

Affleck recalled how the moment was a “incredibly moving and powerful”, and how he would always be grateful to The report star for doing what he did for himself and his child.
