Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was an emotional rollercoaster through and through, and not just because of the film’s homage to the late actor, Chadwick Boseman, but also because of the brilliant way in which new characters are introduced and old ones are brought in , thus bringing the plot together rather impeccably.
Although the film’s action scenes are extremely gripping, the emotional moments in the script still caught the audience’s attention. And one such scene ended up breaking audiences’ hearts as fans bid farewell to Queen Wakandan after her tragic demise in the film. However, Angela Bassett, the actress who plays the character of Ramonda, recently teased fans with the possibility of her returning to the MCU, even after her death in Wakanda forever. and that is surely something to remember.

Angela Bassett hints at possible Ramonda return
In a recent interview with IndieWireAngela Bassett opened up about the role of Queen Wakandan she played in Ryan Coogler’s black panther 2 as she recognized the director for his work on the film.
“He’s extremely clear about the story and what he’s doing,” Bassett said in reference to Coogler’s work ethic. “But the way he relates to the cast and the crew. It’s so collaborative”

The Golden Globe-winning actress mentioned that she initially didn’t completely agree with the idea of her character’s death in Wakanda Foreverr, claiming that the end of Ramonda would be seriously “upset” the audience. However, when Coogler reassured her that her character’s death doesn’t necessarily mean she’ll never return, Bassett gradually took control of the whole thing.
“I protested. Yeah, I was like, ‘Ryan, what are you doing? Why? You will regret the day! You will regret the death of [Ramonda]. People are going to be so upset. He was like, ‘Angela, I know, I know, but look, dying isn’t really dying in this world. It doesn’t really mean that.
And while this cryptic statement doesn’t fully confirm T’Challa and Shuri’s mother’s return, it definitely does spark hope for her.
Ramonda may well return to the MCU despite his death in wakanda forever
Queen Wakandan died a hero.
At the time of Namor’s brutal attack on the kingdom of Wakanda, Riri Williams aka Ironheart was about to become a casualty of war, but before that happened, Ramonda saved Dominique Thorn’s character but , unfortunately, ended up drowning in dealing with it. And that ultimately forced Letitia Wright’s Shuri to take back the Black Panther title.
Although Ramonda’s passing was a blow to the Marvel fandom, and as things stand, most of them were still mourning the death of Boseman and his character. However, this new revelation that Bassett made about his character’s possible return, while mysterious and quite ambiguous, is still very relieving.

One of the most significant examples of superheroes returning to the MCU is that of Avengers: Endgame, in which a plethora of characters were brought back to life with a simple snap of the Infinity Gauntlet. And after Coogler mentioned that Ramonda’s death doesn’t have to be permanent, the Black Panther star consoled himself with the fact that in the same way a number of characters died and were resurrected, not only in End of Game but throughout Marvel history, Ramonda’s future wouldn’t be all bleak either.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is now out in theaters.
