Black Panther: Wakanda Forever finally came out and fans quickly grew attached to Namor even though he is the antagonist of the film. The film’s success led to an increase in fame for Shuri’s portrayal of the Black Panther as well as Namor and his love for his people.
The film created a whole new power dynamic by introducing two new individuals with superhuman abilities. Fans who initially bragged about how the first mutant could defeat Aquaman with ease are now being attacked on social media with the same ongoing debate, this time stating that the outcome of such a fight could lead to the loss of the Talokanian leader.

Namor was brutally defeated by Shuri in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
Namor and Shuri had an epic battle at the end of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever which led to the ultimate retreat of the Talokanian army and Namor’s acceptance of defeat by the newly formed Black Panther. The entire film focused on Shuri’s journey of healing and acceptance and what kind of Black Panther she sees herself as. This also evolves with Namor trusting Princess Wakandan, however, it doesn’t go as planned.
Once the Talokanians infiltrate Wakanda, the nation suffers a tragic loss with the death of Queen Ramonda. This turns out to be the last straw for Shuri and the team then lays out a plan to defeat Namor once and for all, with their intent to kill him. Although she decides not to pursue this idea, Shuri was able to easily pull Namor away from any access to water and defeated him with ease as she had just obtained the powers of the heart-shaped grass. .

Namor and Aquaman’s Power Battle Reaches Fans on a New Level
To see someone who just received their powers easily defeat The Submariner has fans wondering if Tenoch Huerta’s anti-hero could defeat Jason Momoa’s Aquaman in a superhero battle. While some fans pointed out the weaknesses Namor showed, many were supportive of the battle and how Shuri managed to outsmart the character who still almost won.

The rumble of namor and shuri was really weak to me, as he didn’t really seem worth having magically shuried to his level and pulling victory out of sheer willpower after never seeing him win a fight physically. Also, how did the wakadans lose to the water people?

They spent an entire scene toning down his powers before their fight on a literal desert island that keeps his powers weakened due to lack of hydration. You haven’t watched the movie??

Both Aquaman and Namor are strong contenders, leading many fans to debate without a solid conclusion. However, many question Shuri’s sudden proficiency in hand-to-hand combat and how a tech enthusiast was suddenly an incredible Black Panther. This split between fans didn’t end as they came to believe that Aquaman could easily defeat the character without even shaking.
