Avi Arad is a prominent Hollywood producer best known for his involvement in the Spider-Man series. He is now incredibly despised by fans, however, for a variety of reasons. He pushed Venom into Sam Raimi‘s Spider-Man 3, and he also came up with all the confusing drivel of The Amazing Spider-Man duology.

Even though Sam Raimi had no idea for Venom in his original Spider-Man script. Avi Arad deliberately coerced Sam into including the character.
Sony and Avi Arad treated Andrew Garfield badly because he opposed the direction taken by the 2014 sequel.
Avi Arad, thinking merchandise sales, imposed characters and plot points that didn’t sit well with the fans and the story.

After all, Spider-Man: No Way Home earned over $1 billion, and that’s not including the additional $2 billion earned by the first two standalone MCU movies.

After that, the character appeared in three more MCU films, which collectively grossed nearly $6 billion.

Needless to say, this was a huge financial win for both parties. Additionally, it breathed new life into the Spider-Man IP by allowing him to step into a larger superhero universe and later share the stage with Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.
