In a recent interview on Jimmy Kimmel live, Chris Hemsworth reveals an incident that has the top brass at Marvel Studios on edge. When he was training for Unlimited, he broke his ankle in practice, which made the officials paranoid to the point that they literally blocked him from progressing until the end of the production of Thor: Love and Thunder. He said:
“Great, we’ll do it before I shoot Thor.” Anyway, I started training, blew my ankle, and Marvel stepped in and said, “No. The show that could kill it, you can do it after our movie.
This level of paranoia is something you wouldn’t typically associate with Marvel Studios, but given the show’s theme, it was pretty obvious why they acted the way they did.
