Channing Tatum could return as Gambit in the next Dead Pool 3 as Ryan Reynolds campaigns for his appearance, according to scooper DanielRPK. For years, Tatum has been linked to the character that fans first saw onscreen in 2009. X-Men Origins: Wolverine. The character was played by Taylor Kitsch.
The Gambit movie was planned and canceled before filming even began. Channing Tatum was cast in the role, and several directors were attached to the project. Ultimately, that never happened after Disney acquired the character and decided to put the project on hold. Tatum admitted it was a traumatic loss for him.

Channing Tatum Could Finally Play Gambit in Deadpool 3
According DanielRPKReynolds wants Tatum to appear in Dead Pool 3, whatever the role. This brings a lot of hope to fans as it is possible that the studio will revive Gambit and finally let Channing Tatum play the character. In an interview with Varietyactor said:
“I turned off my Marvel machine. I couldn’t see any of the movies. I loved this character. It was too sad. It was like losing a friend ’cause I was so ready to play it.”
Tatum also shared that his version of Remy LeBeau would have the same tone and vibe as the first. dead Pool film. Although his return is yet to be confirmed and many of the characters appearing in Dead Pool 3 have not been revealed, one thing is for sure and that is that we have Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.

Deadpool 3 can get too gruesome, no surprises there
Reynolds confessed that having Jackman play Wolverine alongside Deadpool is a dream come true for him. He admitted it’s something that doesn’t happen too often in film. Another actor is rumored to appear in Dead Pool 3 also includes Owen Wilson. He was rumored to be reprising his role as Mobius Agent, Time Variance Authority.
Land details for Dead Pool 3 are still kept a mystery; however, Rob Liefeld has already hinted at a gory storyline for Wade Wilson and Logan. He felt that both had extreme healing abilities, so it wouldn’t be a problem if they decided to behead each other.
Dead Pool 3 is set to arrive in theaters on November 8, 2024.
