Ryan Reynolds was ready to work on a dead Pool Christmas movie before it was taken away due to Disney taking over the deal with Fox. The actor who recently starred in the Apple TV+ movie Fiery wanted to present a Deadpool movie from the eyes of Wade Wilson. Now that the MCU is already working on the third installment of the franchise, we will be waiting impatiently if Disney ever wants to bring the project back.
In the new movie Fiery, Ryan Reynolds can be spotted with Will Ferrell. The film is inspired by A Christmas Carol written by Charles Dickens. He presented Proposal actor in an all-new avatar. For the first time, he worked in a musical where he is seen dancing and singing instead of headlining the action sequences.

Ryan Reynolds on The Forgotten dead Pool project
Very soon, Disney will release Guardians of the Galaxy: Holiday Special as an MCU special presentation. If the words of Ryan Reynolds are to be believed, then he, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick planned something similar for the character of Wade Wilson a long time ago.
In an interview with Big Issue, the 46-year-old actor revealed he’s still unhappy as the Disney-Fox deal ruined his dead Pool project. He would always like to see a dance and a song number in a dead Pool film.
“I would love to see a song and a dance number in a Deadpool movie. Four years ago [Deadpool co-writers] Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick and I wrote a Christmas movie with Deadpool. But it got lost in the reshuffle of Disney’s acquisition of Fox and it was never realized.
Additionally, Ryan Reynolds added that he still hopes such a movie will be made about the character. He is up for a feature film related to Christmas and Deadpool.
“Maybe one day we can make this movie. It’s not a musical, but it’s a complete Deadpool Christmas movie. So one day.

Reynolds’ career was catapulted after starring as Wade Wilson aka Deadpool in 20th Century Fox’s X-Men franchise. His both dead Pool the films are hits and are always fan favorites. We haven’t received any further details on the project yet as the Kevin Feige Fortress is completely silent. But with the Wolverine and Deadpool duo in action, nothing but a wild ride is expected by fans. The trio are also expected to have a major impact on the final draft of the MCU’s multiverse saga, Avengers: Secret Wars.
Dead Pool 3 is set to hit theaters on November 8, 2024, while Fiery is streaming on Apple TV+.
