What Steven DeKnight Said About Daredevil: Born Again?

The Netflix iteration of daredevil gained great popularity due to its gritty and dark tone. Fans loved the violent, no-frills nature of the series, leading them to expect similar treatment for the Disney+ version as well. Now, that show’s showrunner, Steven DeKnight, has also commented on a Tweet to reveal that he also wants the new show to follow its Netflix predecessor.

Although fans were thrilled to receive feedback on the reports from the ex-showrunner, DeKnight revealed that there was no chance for her involvement in the project. This was revealed when a fan asked him about his possible association with the upcoming series to which his response was:
“I would, but I am currently unavailable for the next few years due to other commitments. Plus, I want the new creative team to be free to do their thing! »
It also implies that Steven DeKnight wants the creators of the new series to be independent from the show and do their job. Incidentally, the former showrunner also praised the version of Daredevil shown in the She-Hulk series when it was released.
