With so much Marvel content in development these days, it’s getting really hard to keep it all under wraps. Marvel has done a stellar job of not letting many leaks slip during Infinity War and End of Gamethe publish window. But people like Mark Ruffalo and Tom Holland did a lot to spoil those movies. And when it was time for No coming home, Alfred Molina took over from Holland and spilled the beans on his involvement in the film. But after doing that, he was definitely scared of Marvel’s greatest sniper, Kevin Feige!
What happened with Alfred Molina
Marvel Couldn’t Contain All The Details About The Returning Villains Of No coming home because the appearance of the 5 villains had already been reported. Jamie Foxx had shared an Instagram post about his comeback and deleted it. But after him, when filming began, reports suggested that Alfred Molina was on the set of No coming home film this bridge battle with Doc Ock and Tom Holland’s Spider-Man.

Then a few days after the report, Molina himself confirmed his presence in the film thinking that news about him had already been reported. But apparently that was a mistake on his part because neither Sony’s Amy Pascal nor Marvel boss Kevin Feige were happy with what he said. Molina recently spoke to RadioTimes.com and gave us some insight into what really happened back then:
“Just by chance, I was talking to a reporter who was like, ‘So, you know, how’s the Spider-Man movie going?’ And I went, ‘Oh, great thank you.’ Then literally the next day, Variety was like, ‘Alfred Molina reveals Doc Ock is coming back,’
And I had such troubles. I was getting phone calls from Amy Pascal, Kevin Feige was on the red carpet somewhere and someone asked him about a Marvel movie and apparently he got a little snipping and turned around and said: “Ask Alfred Molina”.
Obviously, Feige was not happy. But Molina’s reveal allowed Marvel and Sony to put Doc Ock first No coming home trailer. So it was a victory!

Not the first mistake an MCU actor made
Although Molina’s mistake is fairly recent, you just can’t forget the King of Spoiling Marvel movies (not Tom Holland), Mark Ruffalo. The Hulk actor really couldn’t squeeze it in his interviews because not only did he reveal that everyone was going to die at the end of Avengers: Infinity Warbut it also partially broadcast the first 15 minutes of Thor: Ragnarok on facebook live. It was pretty crazy, but luckily for him, he didn’t get into much trouble.
