The claim also stated that Amber Heard deliberately defamed Johnny Depp and thus they hoped to get out of the case. The counterclaim said the insurance company offered terrible legal advice and also warned Amber Heard to drop the case several times before backing down. The case is currently open and there will be a status conference on December 2, 2022 with Amber Heard, Judge Wu and both parties over a phone call.
