Dwayne Johnson, who is also well known as “The Rock” to many fans from his WWE wrestling career, has been open about his well-nourished diet of 6,000-8,000 calories a day, ranging from 5-7 meals per day. The actor is also known for his infamous cheat days which he says are a way to reward himself after a long disciplined week.
However, Johnson’s 8,000 calorie a day diet was claimed to be a fake by George Doucette, a fitness model known for his high-intensity workouts. Doucette mentioned that if The Rock had eaten 8,000 calories, the Hercules the actor is said to be 100 pounds overweight.

George Doucette claims The Rock is lying about his 8,000 calorie diet
A look at Dwayne Johnson’s Instagram account would reveal the former WWE wrestler’s love of food. The black adam The actor could be seen devouring lots of food items like pancakes, cookies, and brownies. Johnson revealed that while he usually ate 6,000 calories, his count would sometimes go up to 8,000 calories if needed for his movies.
However, the claims of Jungle Cruise the actor would have been wrong by Greg Doucette, a fellow bodybuilder. Doucette mentioned in a YouTube video that it was not possible for The Rock to consume so many calories or he would be one hundred pounds obese.
Doucette even counted the calories Johnson might have consumed day by day, but the result doesn’t even sum up 6,000 calories, forget 8,000.
“6-8000 calories so where did the 5000 calories come from that he didn’t describe in this video? He described about 3000 calories maybe but where do we get the total 6-8000 calories,” I continue just eat” he never describes half of what he eats, and it’s supposed to be a video telling us exactly what he ate to get in shape, stay in shape but yet he doesn’t give us none of that, he gives us a few prepared meals, sounds cool and because he’s The Rock, we listen to him and love him”

Greg Doucette has even accused and roasted The Rock in the past, calling him a fake bodybuilder.
The Rock talks about his diet
Allegations that Dwayne Johnson lied about his diet emerged when the San Andreas The actor opened up about his daily calorie intake in an interview. Johnson, known for his acting as well as his impressive physique, revealed that he regularly consumes around 6,000 calories.
“I mean, Ray, just between us and I know the cameras aren’t rolling right now, I mean, it’s like in the 5,000s and 6,000s [range].”
The actor, while working out appropriately while maintaining a good diet, is also open to indulging in weekly cheat days. His Instagram feed often receives updates on cheat days where the actor’s invaluable love for cookies can be seen.
I do [cheat]. And just to be clear to anyone watching, that is, sometimes once or twice a week. Like – share [food posts] try to make it as fun as possible.
The actor also drinks 11 to 13 liters of water every day as well as his own brand of energy Zoa, to stay hydrated.
