U.S. Authorities Have Increased Travel Testing Regulations

The US Centers for Disease and Control Protection has asked all the airline companies to share the data of the International travelers from South Africa to the United States for the past two weeks.

It must be expected that things can be changed by the day and even by the hour, and these are some of the most frequently asked questions about US travel guidelines. As per President Joe Biden’s introduction of additional pandemic-fighting initiatives on Thursday. Beginning Monday, all international travelers would be compelled to undergo the assessment within one day from their visit to the USA.

Currently, the Permanent residents of the USA are only allowed to enter the nation if they produce negative Covid 19 reports within one day of boarding their flights.

As per the reports available, the first infected person with the Omicron Variant was fully vaccinated and this raises more concern about the effectiveness of the vaccination to fight against this new strain.

All planes scheduled to leave on December 6 would be subject to an additional mandatory Center for Disease Control screening order issued Thursday evening. According to the U.s. Government official site, this latest verification phase would then extend to everybody. This rule is applicable for all irrespective of nationality and vaccination status.

The Biden Administration has already officially confirmed during the briefing session at the White House that there is a mandatory mask provision, which requires all the travelers to wear masks at the security checkpoints, planes, as well as other types of mass transportation like bus services. This mask mandate has already been pushed until March 18, 2022.

Foreign citizens from eight South African countries which include, Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, and Zimbabwe, are barred from entering the borders of the United States under the travel restrictions confirmed on November 26.

Residents of those countries, as well as foreign citizens, who’ve already traveled there over the last fifteen days, are presently barred from coming to The United States.

These travel restrictions will surely increase the problems for the international travelers as we all as for the domestic. But this restriction is necessary as more people will be traveling back to their homes to celebrate the Christmas holidays and for their safety, these restrictions were required in the first place.
