Mismanagement Of Resources Has Increased The Severity Of Pandemic
As per the latest reports from the World Health Organization, more than 5.3 million people around the globe have lost their lives due to Covid 19 and daily thousands of people are dying.
Many health experts are arguing that there are so many resources available to defeat this deadly disease which has affected millions of people but the major concern is the lack of management of these resources.
Alone in The United States, more than 48 million people have been affected, resulting in the deaths of over 800,000 citizens. As per a source, maximum deaths have been registered from the unvaccinated population.
In the US, trillions of dollars have been lost due to the pandemic. The major reason is not optimizing the tools available. Many researchers have blamed lack of planning, lack of management of funds, and the medical system as resulting in such serious conditions.
The Political leaders in the United States have blamed the Federal Government for not dealing with the crisis properly.
The World Health Organization, on the other hand, has criticized rich nations for not helping poor countries to provide them with the medical health system and vaccinations. A medical official at the WHO said, we have failed in creating a good infrastructure, leadership to manage this pandemic wisely.
Currently, As per the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, there are around 59 million unvaccinated American citizens and this has been a major threat for the vaccinated people.
The vaccination is considered a major tool to prevent the body against the covid 19 delta and Omicron variants. If you are not vaccinated there are very high chances you will be infected with Covid 19 virus, said Dr. Anthony Fauci.
He also said, “I don’t understand why people are not receiving their vaccinations”. There is no reason why citizens are preventing themselves from getting vaccinated as vaccination is the only way to stay protected and to enjoy the Christmas festive season with loved ones.
The Major vaccine manufacturing companies in the country have developed vaccinations that are very effective to fight against severe Covid 19 virus and prevent further spread.
After the outbreak of the initial covid 19 virus in China, there are 2 other variants that have already shaken the world.
Many experts believe that the delta variant is still the most lethal variant, even if the Omicron variant carries more mutants. Though, the omicron has more power to spread faster than the delta version of coronavirus.
The Omicron results are still unknown but health experts are suggesting taking all the precautions like masking, social distancing, receiving the vaccination, and booster shots if eligible.
