According to some initial studies conducted by South African Scientists and US medical researchers, it has been found that the initial doses of the vaccine alone are not sufficient enough to tackle the infection caused by the Omicron strain in the human body.
It has been observed that the effectiveness and efficiency of the vaccine have reduced over a certain time period which is more dangerous for the entire US population.

After this, he also stated that the pandemic will extend up to 2024 and it will depend on how people adapt to the vaccines. The unvaccinated people are at a higher risk than the fully vaccinated and those who have received the booster shots too.
The need for the fourth dose might add up by the end of the next year if new variants keep on ringing the bells of our globe.
Although The chief medical consultant of the US Federal Government, Dr. Anthony Fauci has stated that right now coming to any conclusion without proper research and studies is not a good option. It is very early to talk about something that will happen later in the future.
He stated that the demand to change the definition of the fully vaccinated is on the table and he will further discuss with the Government and FDA after certain studies and analysis.
