The Peak Will End Soon And Cases Will Start Reducing Very Sharply

The omicron variant has become a dominant strain in the United States in just a few days after the initial case was founded in the State of California on 1st December 2021, and since that day the United States has been under the influence of this contagious variant of covid 19 virus.

The current data of daily cases has been giving restless nights to the medical experts in the country as the daily cases have clearly surpassed 1.5 million and will be increasing with a double rate in the upcoming days. Some health care officials are claiming that by the end of January the cases will peak more and the omicron will end up infecting more than 140 million Americans.

Although during the initial days of the outbreak of the omicron variant in the South African countries there were widespread cases and it was doubling every day and there was a great doubt that it will affect the citizens badly and will lead to more hospital admissions.

The experts in the United States are claiming that the omicron variant has peaked in many countries including, South Africa, The United Kingdom, and in some days the US will be witnessing the same situation.

The cases are increasing at an average of 30 percent in Britain and by at least 36 percent in South Africa. Even the researchers in the US are claiming that by January 19, 2022, the cases of the omicron variant will start reducing as the unvaccinated will be infected and it must be noted that they are already infected now and further the severity will reduce and the covid 19 virus wave will slow down drastically.

Also with the cases, the hospitalization rate and deaths will also see a major fall. The best part about the omicron strain is that the mutants travel faster than the delta variant but they also settle down even much faster.

The increase in the cases at such a level is due to the unvaccinated population because these people carry the infection from one place to another without even knowing they are positive. This condition is arising because sometimes even the coronavirus testing kits are not able to detect the infection and second time testing is required because the symptoms are very mild and have not been captured by the testing kits in one go.

It must be noted that some healthcare officials are stating that the antibodies created by the omicron strain will be very high and will be able to handle any further strain.

The unvaccinated people are at higher risk than the fully vaccinated by two doses of vaccine and booster shots and these people are at a much lower level of getting caught with the virus and off the chance the virus attacks them, the antibodies will help and reduce the chances of getting hospitalized.

The American citizens must receive their doses of vaccination and eligible ones must receive the booster jabs as soon as possible.
