Some States Have Started To Witness Fewer Cases

The rise of the new variant in the United States is at a different level and breaking every record with the passing days. The seven-day average cases in the country have surpassed more than 800,000 and it is increasing daily.

Some States Have Started To Witness Fewer Cases

Many medical experts are blaming the communication gap between the health agencies and citizens regarding the information about the covid 19 infection, vaccines, and their importance. This is the major reason why the vaccination rate in the United States is not increasing as per the expected rate.

Some States Have Started To Witness Fewer Cases

According to the data available released by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, there is more than 36 percent of the entire US population is not fully vaccinated. Dr. Anthony Fauci also claimed that unvaccinated people are a real cause of threat for the vaccinated people as they carry the infection and increase the infection rate.

The omicron variant is at its peak according to some of the renowned healthcare officials in the country. The newly detected subtype of covid 19 is not lethal but surely it is highly contagious and travels much faster than the delta version of coronavirus.

Now as per some US Surgeons, they are claiming the fact that the winter peak is not yet achieved in some USA states and they will witness a high number of cases in the upcoming days. This is something very interesting now as a state like New York has reported 45 percent fewer cases on Saturday and the overall hospitalization and death rate has also reduced and it seems like the peak has been achieved in the New York state.

It has been analyzed that major states like California, Texas, New York have started to see fewer cases in the previous week and it must be noted that these were the states where the omicron variant was first detected and became very harsh by traveling at a much faster rate. Also, there were the states which were complaining about the shortage of staff and supplies but the fact is not every state is even now.

The medical experts are warning that the upcoming days can be very tough for the states where the omicron variant hit late and now the cases are developing at a faster pace. This might give rise to more problems for the White House and State governments. The vaccination rate has to improve in order to secure the survival of the citizens.

Also, the national mortality rate has increased and on Sunday itself approximately 1800 new deaths were reported in the United States. On the Other hand, around 157,000 US citizens were hospitalized and this has even raised the concern for the hospital administration and the US Federal Government has directed the hospitals to focus more on severe covid 19 patients and put a halt on the non-emergency medical admissions.
