The Government and medical authorities of California have been taking various preventive measures bringing in various tough decisions and interacting laws to increase the vaccination rate amongst the kids because in the entire country, kids are at major risk now and cases of infection and hospital admissions are increasing daily giving sleepless nights to the medical agencies and parents.

California Will Pass The Law Allowing Kids To Get Vaccinated

During a survey in the state, it was found that maximum parents are in dilemma to allow their children to receive the vaccination or not. The major reason stated by the medical experts behind this problem is the communication gap between the public healthcare department and parents regarding the after-effects of the vaccines

As per the latest reports available, California will become the 6th state after Washington, D.C Alabama, Rhode Island, Oregon, and North Carolina & South Carolina to authorize minors to get themselves vaccinated without the approval and presence of the parents.

This new bill will allow young teens in California to get vaccinated without the consent of their parents. In the US. Pfizer booster shot has been authorized for the teens between 12-17 years age group.

Previously the adolescents of 12-17 years were required to have proper consent either from the parents to receive the vaccination. It must be noted that the vaccination authorized by the US Food and Drug Administration and administered by the US CDC will fall under this law.

As per the data available with the state medical agency, around 63 percent of the young teens between 12-17 years have been fully vaccinated by the authorities and around 28 percent or one million teens are yet to receive their initial dose of vaccination.

The authorities while justifying this major step stated that the schools are being closed because of the declining ratio of the vaccinated kids and also, due to non-vaccination the risk amongst the vaccinated students in the schools are increasing sharply and various complaints have been raised by the parents and school authorities regarding this issue.

Also, it has been found that parents are reluctant to get their kids vaccinated and in some instances, it has been analyzed that guardians or parents were not able to take time out of their busy working schedules to assist the children to the vaccination centers.

The state has to follow the policy and standards set by the US Federal Government regarding the vaccination of the tens between 12-17 years.
