Skyler White, wife of Walter White aka Heisenberg hasn’t been a fan-favorite character of the Breaking Bad series. Although she is the wife of the main protagonist, Skyler White is often criticized and disliked for her actions in the series. But still White has had a huge part throughout the series.
Everything was going well between Walter White and Skyler White for a while and they have been a happily married couple. But things got escalated between Mr. and Mrs.White after Skyler came to know about her husband’s drug business.
What Happens To Skyler White At The End Of Breaking Bad?
Ever since Skyler has been disliked by many fans because she caused trouble for the main man, Walter White. It is quite normal and obvious that fans will hate someone who causes trouble to their favorite character and the main protagonist of the series/movies they are watching.
Skyler White was a wife of an established drug business, so she is tangled in the mess of Walter White and his drug business deals. The death of Skyler White was expected in the series and the director Vince Gilligan has thought of killing Skyler in the series. But it didn’t really happen.
Gilligan once talked about other possible endings of the series that were considered and one of them involved Skyler dying by suicide. The director has said that idea was Walter and Skyler were in a motel and Walter tried to calm Skyler by saying that everything was going to be alright.
When Walter opens the bathroom, he will be seeing Skyler in a pool of blood after she cut her wrist. But Gilligan strike off the ending as they considered Skyler’s suicide to be “unnecessary” in the series. So he went with the idea of killing off Walter White himself.
So what happens to Skyler White in the end? Skyler White is broken after the death of her husband and she was already in the mess of her husband’s drug business.
The director hasn’t shown much of Walter’s family after Walter White’s death but Skyler White has been a strong woman throughout the series who has given her everything to her children.
So it is expected that she will start afresh and will move on with her new life, if not for her, for the sake of her children. Considering that Walter White has killed all of his enemies, Skyler getting killed by one of her husband’s nemeses is an unlikely possibility.
