Yoriichi Tsugikuni; Who Is He? Is He The Most Powerful Demon Slayer Ever?
Yoriichi Tsugikuni is a demon slayer who was born in the Sengoku era as the twin brother of Michikatsu Tsugikuni. In the Sengoku era, twins were considered a bad omen and so Yoriichi was a bad omen for his father. On top of that, Yoriichi was born with a big birthmark on his forehead which travels down the side of his eyes.
So Yoriichi’s father hated him and thought of killing him when he was a child. But Yoriichi’s mother stopped his father from killing him and decided that Yoriichi will be sent to a temple when he turns ten and will become a monk.
But an unfortunate fall upon Yoriichi as he was growing up. His mother dies, so in fear for his life, Yoriichi runs away from his home.
When he was running away from his home, Yoriichi met a girl named Uta and Uta is also homeless like Yoriichi. So Yoriichi and Uta decide to live together and the two fall in love.
After 10 years of living together Uta becomes pregnant with Yoriichi’s child and the couple has been living a happy life. When Uta’s due date nears, one-day Yoriichi leaves Uta in their home alone in the search for a midwife. But instead of finding a midwife, Yorrichi was met an old man and assisted old man along his path.
When he returns home by thinking that he will find a midwife tomorrow, Yoriichi saw the worst thing that was happened to him. He saw that his wife, Uta, and their newborn child were murdered by a demon.
This event made Yoriichi become a demon slayer and shortly after the event, he started training.
With years of training, Yorrichi became one of the demon slayers ever and he was even encountered Muzan Kibutsuji and made her flee for her life.
Tsugikuni trained many demon slayers and this also includes the ancestors of Tanjiro Kamado. So Tanjiro is not related to Yorrichi in any kind and the only relation is that Yorrichi has trained Tanjiro’s forefathers.
