After completing his primary education at St. James, DeWyze attended the Prospect High School in Mount Prospect. When he was in senior high school, he was expelled from Prospect High School as he was involved in many fights with fellow mates in the school.
After he was expelled, the singer attended Forest Alternative High School in Arlington Heights. DeWyze didn’t graduate from any of these schools but has got a general education diploma certificate.
