Moana’s clothes are totally made of Tapa, Pandanus, leaves, feathers, and other Motunui-sourced natural resources. Her regular outfit is a red Tapa crop top with a tiered pattern and seashells around the hem.
Moana makes her final appearance in the film, wearing her voyager robe in the epilogue. In contrast to her previous outfits, Moana’s voyager dress is made of fresh leaves and plants.
Her top is made of bright red leaves, which represent her new status as Chief of Motunui. Her belt is made of scarlet Tapa, while her skirt is made of shredded Pandanus with a green leaf panel falling down the tiers.
Moana is dressed with a lei of red and green leaves and white flowers and a leaf cuff on her left arm and right ankle.
