Brown posted a simple but heartfelt message on his Instagram Stories not long after the news of Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s baby’s birth became public. While without explicitly labeling or naming Rihanna, the “No Guidance” wrapper simply said, “CONGRATULATIONS,” and included the praying hands, a red heart, and a pregnant lady emoji.
Brown and Rihanna had a turbulent relationship that lasted from 2007 to 2009, with Brown’s domestic abuse toward Rihanna coming to light in February 2009.
Chris Brown assaulted Rihanna on the night of the GRAMMY Awards after an altercation, and she was hospitalized as a result of her severe injuries. Brown eventually surrendered to police and was charged with criminal assault.
Brown was given a plea deal for the attack that included a five-year restraining order, probation for the same period of time, and domestic abuse therapy.
Though Rihanna and Brown were able to repair their friendship and resume their romance from 2012 to 2013, the widely publicized attack has tarnished Brown’s reputation ever since. Brown has three children of his own: Royalty, 7; Aeko, 2; and Lovely, a newborn girl born this year.
Rihanna Gave Birth To A Baby Boy
The news of Rihanna and A$ kid AP was confirmed by ET, with a source revealing that Rihanna gave birth to a baby boy on May 13 in Los Angeles with A$AP at her side and that the family is now resting at her Los Angeles home.
“They are overjoyed. She’s been looking forward to being a mother for a long time. This newborn boy will have the greatest baby fashion.”
Brown received two Grammy nominations in 2006, including best new artist, and in 2007 he broadened his entertainment career with parts in the dance drama film Stomp the Yard, the hit TV series The O.C., and the holiday comedy-drama film This Christmas. He also released his second album, Exclusive, in late 2007, which was praised for demonstrating Brown’s maturation while still appealing to his target adolescent market. Exclusive included collaborations with famous artists like Lil Wayne and Kanye West, and its track “Kiss Kiss,” starring singer-rapper T-Pain, topped the Billboard Hot 100.
