Mary Miller, a Republican from Illinois, celebrated Saturday’s Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. She joined former President Trump at a rally and called it a “great victory for White life on the Supreme Court.” Her team quickly responded, saying that it was a typo. She meant to say “a historic victory for the right to live by the Supreme Court.”
Mary Miller Calls Roe’s Decision’ Victory For White Life
News: Isaiah Wartman, her spokesperson, said that Mary slipped as she uttered ‘Right to Life’ and the fake news vultures swarm.
Wartman says Miller has the highest pro-life voting record in Congress and is the “happy grandma” of two beautiful grandchildren with Down syndrome.
Miller is the representative of Illinois’ 15th Congressional District. Due to redistricting, she is in a primary battle with Rodney Davis, an incumbent Republican from Illinois’ 13th Congressional District. Tuesday will be the primary election.
Trump called Miller a “fighter to our movement and our principles” during Saturday’s event. Davis stated that Miller’s statements were “simply another component of a worrying pattern she’s displayed since arriving at Congress.” She also compared it with a “Biden basement tactic” in which she avoids answering questions. Davis referred to Miller’s past scandals, including when she glorified Adolf Hitler during a Jan 2021 rally and claimed that she was “unfit for public office.”
News reports that Miller called Davis, the Illinois co-chair of Trump’s 2020 campaign, a “RINO,” which is a Republican by name only. Davis was one of the 35 Republicans who voted for a committee to investigate the January 6 attack on Capitol USA.
To show what they have found so far about Trump’s refusal to recognize the results of the 2020 election and the pressure campaign against Congress to reverse them in the lead-up to the attack, the committee will hold public hearings.
Miller claimed that Davis “betrayed” him by voting to create the committee during Saturday’s event. Trump called the sessions a “ridiculous telephony trial.”
Trump applauded New York’s century-old gun legislation and for rejecting Roe v. Wade. This prompted the audience to scream, “Thank You, Trump!” He also endorsed Republican gubernatorial nominee Darren Bailey who will face five opponents in Tuesday’s primary.

Miller announced her candidacy in order to succeed John Shimkus, the retiring incumbent in the United States House of Representatives for the 15th congressional District of Illinois. She was elected to the Republican Party nomination in Illinois’ most Republican District. In addition, she won the general election with over 70% of the vote. She is the first Republican woman to be elected to Congress from Illinois since Judy Biggert left in 2013. Miller supported farmers and brought manufacturing back to Illinois.
Miller supported Donald Trump’s false allegations that 2020’s presidential election would be marred by voter corruption.
