The Suicide Squad Star Idris Elba has a new DC project in the works.
Idris Elba, who comic book fans recognize most for his respective roles as Heimdall and Bloodsport, has a new project in the works with DC.
Idris Elba was last seen as Bloodsport in the DC movie, The Suicide Squad. Here is the synopsis:
Welcome to Hell – aka Belle Reve, the prison with the highest death rate in the United States of America. Where the worst super-villains are held and where they will do anything to get out – even join the super-secret and super-sleazy Force X task. Today’s do-or-die mission? Assemble a collection of crooks including Bloodsport, Peacemaker, Captain Boomerang, Ratcatcher 2, Savant, King Shark, Blackguard, Javelin and everyone’s favorite psycho, Harley Quinn. Then, arm them heavily and dump them (literally) on the remote, enemy-soaked island of Corto Maltese. Traversing a jungle teeming with militant adversaries and guerrilla forces at every turn, the squad is on a search-and-destroy mission, with only Colonel Rick Flag on the ground to make them behave…and government techs to ‘Amanda Waller in their ears, tracking their every move. And as always, one false move and they’re dead (whether at the hands of their opponents, a teammate, or Waller herself). If anyone is betting, smart money is against them, all of them.
