Tom Cruise Brings The Grossmans Back
For those of you unfamiliar, Les Grossman was a comedic character portrayed by none other than Tom Cruise himself in a very unfamiliar face. The film’s plot follows a group of actors playing a war documentary but being drafted into an actual war. The character of Tom Cruise is the producer of the documentary.

The character of Les Grossman is defined as a spitting profanity, a blowing diet coke and a special love for dancing. Tom Cruise is apparently teaming up with the director of Mission Impossible 7 & 8 Christopher McQuarrie, to bring the character of Les Grossman back to life with his own spin-off.

In recent talks, it’s still unclear if Tom Cruise’s Les Grossman will star in his own movie or just make a guest appearance in another of their projects. Christopher McQuarrie is known for having directed 4 films of the Impossible mission franchise (2 still in production) and another film in which Tom Cruise would shoot in space!
However, given the current trend of bringing back old memories, it’s likely that an entire spin-off will be dedicated to this hilarious character. Fans also demanded the return of Robert Downey Jr. to reprise his role as well.

His character as Les was a highlight of Tropic Thunder, and I think it would be awesome if he reprized that role again.
