Momoa was nothing but praise when it came to discussing the Aquaman movies. When discussing the first film and its underlying message of the planet’s demise, the actor had the following to say:

“These superhero movies are dominating our market, which I have my own opinion on because I love movies, but we’re trying to get a positive message across and go on an adventure. Aquaman is the superhero the most ridiculous in the world. But it’s amazing to be able to raise awareness of what is happening on our planet.

The actor underscored the film’s grandeur, saying it’s not the same premise as a formulaic superhero movie, where things get tedious and repetitive. Instead, he focused on what’s happening in reality around us, which the film portrays in its own terms by basing it on fantasy fiction.

It looks like the latest episode will also continue to play into the allegory of climate change and show a more serious, but, as Momoa claims, a “More fun” side of the fans of the franchise.
